Driving Miss Daisy, Taupō - Trina Windley & Dean Webber

Owner

I’m excited to be supporting the Taupō community with our new Driving Miss Daisy franchise, providing a caring, safe, and reliable companion driving service.

I have strong ties to the Taupō region, having previously lived here as a dairy farm sharemilker and farm owner while my family attended local schools. Since then, I’ve worked in the ECE and mental health sectors. I also cared for my mum who lived with Alzheimer’s, which gave me a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate support and companionship. I truly valued being alongside her, helping her stay connected and enjoy outings. I will be managing Driving Miss Daisy Taupō and am passionate about delivering a service that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Dean has recently relocated to the Taupō region and understands how important mobility and independence are. He has a strong background in dairy farming and holds an extensive range of driving licences. Dean really values the role Driving Miss Daisy plays in supporting communities across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and soon Ireland.

At Driving Miss Daisy Taupō, we offer more than just transport—we provide a companion driving service that supports your independence while offering friendly, trusted company along the way.

You choose the journey, and we’ll be there every step of the way.

We can help with:
• Medical and personal appointments
• Airport transfers and shopping trips
• School pick-ups and after-school activities
• Social outings and community events
• Transport for pets to veterinary appointments

We are proud to be an ACC contracted supplier and accept Total Mobility Scheme cards, helping to make our service more affordable and accessible. If you or your loved ones would benefit from a safe, reliable, and caring driving companion, I’d love to help.

Give me a call to discuss your individual needs and take the stress out of getting where you need to go.

Kim Manunui

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.

Collaboratively we are creative, share sustainable values and work hard for great outcomes because that’s the buzz of satisfaction that drives us.

If you have an audience and market to reach, we can make that happen. Creative design, words that work and smart behind the scenes stuff that cuts through the online noise. We’ll design your website and then build it. We’ll manage the content as well as all your hosting needs. We can handle your online advertising so you get noticed,
and we’ll manage your social media presence so you get the clicks, likes and engagement to grow your business. All within the budget you set, because none of this needs to cost the earth.  And the job doesn’t stop when your website goes live. We are your virtual business partner.
