July 3: Join us for a delightful Midday Concert celebrating the joy of choral music, featuring two vibrant Taupō choirs.
From youthful voices to a welcoming community ensemble, the next concert presents two choirs: the Taupō School of Music 'Keynotes' and the local ensemble 'All Together Now'. Taupō School of Music Keynotes Choir
Directed by Kaylene Carson, the Keynotes Choir is a welcoming choir for children aged 5–13. Open to all, with no auditions required, it brings together young voices from across the community in a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence, develop musical skills, and form lasting friendships.
All Together Now Choir
Directed by Megan Flint, All Together Now is a friendly, non-auditioned community choir for adults who love to sing. Whether you’re experienced or just starting, singers are supported to learn a wide range of music in an inclusive and encouraging environment. Part of a wider choral network, the choir meets weekly and is passionate about bringing people together through song and sharing that joy with the community.

July 11: Free Le Creuset Cooking Demonstration live in-store on Saturday, July 11 from 11am onwards. Come and learn a thing or two and ask Le Creuset NZ's expert any of your burning questions. 11 Gascoigne Street, Chef's Complements.
June 23-27: Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials at the Fiber Fresh National Equestrian Centre, Aratiatia, fundraising for the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter. Featuring top dogs from throughout the country, as well as the inaugural Wilson Hellaby training farm cadets team challenge. All competitions under cover, with trade stands and hot food and drink available. Gold coin entry donation appreciated. Fundraising auction of outdoor gear and dog related goods midday Friday.
June 26: Rangitaiki School Quiz Night and Midwinter Christmas Feast, 6.30pm at Rangitaiki Community Hall. Entry is $30 and includes quiz, nibbles, dinner and light dessert. Quiz teams of up to six people. Raffles and an auction, BYO alcohol. RSVP to aiden.long14@hotmail.com by June 19.

Whether you're a collector, gamer, or simply a fan of comics, toys, action figures and diecast models, this is the perfect place to find rare items and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
It’s a place where you can "Marvel" at all the amazing finds, "Transform" your collection, and maybe even "Force" a few new friends as you browse through the tables packed with your favorite collectibles, from limited edition figures to vintage treasures.
It's going to be "Super" fun — you'll have a "blast" (pun intended)! Come for the collectibles, stay for the community, and leave with a few extra "heroic" items in hand.
With over 130 tables of collectibles to buy from there's something for everyone.
It will be $5 cash entry fee to enter with kids 10 and under free with all door sales going to local charities.

July 10: Mānawatia a Matariki. Join us in Tūrangi to Celebrate the Māori New Year. The opening karakia and Remembrance Ceremony will be at 6am in Tūrangi Town Centre. The popular Kid's Disco will be held at the Senior Citizens Halls that afternoon followed by the vibrant and lively Night Market at 6pm. To end the day, you won't want to miss the Laser and Light Show at Turangitukua Park on Hirangi Road. It's a free community event for the whole family. No drugs or alcohol and no dogs please. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am-2pm: Become a Member at Active Arts Taupō. Love painting, pottery or mixed media? Join our vibrant creative community at 5 Redoubt Road. Connect, create and grow alongside local artists.
Every Sunday: If you love to sing, have free time to take part in weekday concerts and can stay on your feet for a 30-minute performance, the AA65 choir would love you to join our group. We practise at 4pm every Sunday at Rotary House and sing at different venues every second month.
Now until June 30: The Tagged Trout Treasure Hunt involves 10 tagged trout released north, south, east, west and at the reef with each one caught earning a $500 cash prize. The Ukulele Strummers meet on the first Sunday of each month and singers welcome too. Join us for a fun time with music from the 60's, 70's, 80's. All welcome.
