Fatal crash in CBD

One person has died following a crash in central Taupō on Friday evening.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash on the corner of Te Heuheu St and Ruapehu St just before 6.30pm.
One person died at the scene, two others have been critically hurt.
The road is now open but was closed for several hours while Police conducted a scene examination.
