Danny needs a home

Hello to my new parents, thank-you for choosing me!

My name is Danny, I'm the only boy! I am black with a little streak of white on the front of my chest and I’m at Taupō SPCA.

When I came to live with my foster family, I was really little and not very well at all.

I hadn't been fed or loved and I was very sad.

My foster dad spent a lot of time, even getting up in the middle of the night, to feed me and my two sisters, up to 10 times a day to make sure we got all the food we needed to get better.

I am now a very confident and happy boy, I love to play with toys, plastic bottles and bits of wood. I am very inquisitive but I will just as happily have a snuggle and a pat.

We think my mum and dad are boxer-greyhound-labrador cross, not that you would have known when we first arrived at our temporary home - it was hard to work out what breed we were.

I am comfortable outside and inside, but I haven't been house trained yet, but I haven't had an accident inside when I've been in.

I have adjusted to being around big dogs but only from a distance because I was too small to be allowed to play with them.

I play well with my sisters and we all eat out of the same dish with no issues, just a little bit of growling sometimes!

I love when visitors turn up so I can meet them and get extra cuddles.

PS, once you have me home you are more than welcome to contact my foster parents to ask any questions you might have.

It is a $250 adoption fee plus a service charge of $2.50, to cover the cost of processing your adoption.

Phone 07 378 4396, 131 Centennial Drive, Taupō.
