Adam and Tiffany Wilks, together with their long-time business partners Dave and Kylie Merwood, have proudly led Laser Plumbing Taupō for over 18 years. This February, they took an exciting step by purchasing Laser Electrical Taupō, allowing them to offer a full plumbing and electrical service to their local community.

What really drives this team is their people first approach. Adam and Tiffany are passionate about creating a workplace where the team loves coming to work, feels supported, and gets to grow both professionally and personally. Alongside the Merwoods, with three sons in the Wilks family and two in the Merwood family they’ve nurtured a true family vibe both families’ sons are now working right alongside them.

Their services cover a wide range of plumbing and electrical needs, and they’re known for top quality workmanship paired with friendly, reliable customer care. But it’s the culture behind the scenes that sets them apart: regular team activities, ongoing training, and a diverse crew where everyone’s unique skills shine.

Being part of the Taupō business community is a big deal to them. Through groups like BNI and the Chamber of Commerce, they’ve built solid connections and learned a ton from other local businesses.

Outside of work, family is everything. With a passion for travel, being active and having fun much of their community spirit flows through supporting their kids’ activities and giving back wherever they can.

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.
