Hi, I am Nathan Stirling, and together with my business partner, have owned and operated the G.J. Gardner Homes franchise in Taupō for the past nine years.

My role covers all aspects of the business – from meeting new customers, guiding them through design and pricing, to construction and then handing over the finished home. I also lead our team and manage the day-to day responsibilities that come with running a local business.

At G.J.’s we love supporting our community by engaging local tradespeople and suppliers, and I am very proud of the strong, long-standing relationships we have cultivated over the years. I particularly enjoy seeing apprentices and young workers learn and develop into skilled tradespeople, and it’s rewarding to support them with ongoing work.

On a personal note, I am very proud of my heritage having grown up in Taupō. I have many great memories of swimming in and cycling around the Lake, exploring the forests, and making the most of everything this incredible place has to offer.

That connection to the area drives my passion for helping our community continue to thrive and grow in a way we can all be proud of. We build throughout the Taupō district, both urban and rural, and my team and I would love the opportunity to talk to you about your next home.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home.
