For me, financial advice is about helping people feel confident in the decisions they make.

As the owner of Central Mortgage & Insurance, I work with clients at every stage of their financial journey. That might mean helping someone purchase their first home, guiding a family through their lending options, reviewing personal insurance needs, or providing KiwiSaver advice to help them work towards their future goals.

Many people find financial decisions overwhelming because there is so much information available and every person's situation is different. My role is to simplify the process, explain the options available, and help clients understand the advantages and disadvantages of each choice so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

What I enjoy most is building long-term relationships. I've had the privilege of helping clients buy their first home, then later assisting with investment properties, tailoring their personal risk insurances to suit their current stage of life, and of course, advising on their KiwiSaver, in the aim to maximize returns for their retirement. Being part of those milestones and seeing people achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Taupō is a fantastic community to be part of, and I enjoy supporting local families, business owners, and individuals through financial education, community involvement, and one-on-one advice.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: To help people understand their options, make confident financial decisions, and create a future that supports the life they want to live.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
