Classic car show

The Alpine Vintage & Classic Auto Show takes place against the backdrop of Mt Ruapehu.

This year’s Alpine Vintage & Classic Auto Show will take place on May 31 (King's Birthday weekend) at National Park School in Waimarino. 

There is a $2 gold coin donation for spectators, Sky Waka raffles, coffee & cake, barbecue station and other stalls.  

A hearty thanks goes out to our nearly 100 entries and volunteer participants from last year’s event which made for just another great day at the school grounds with this year looking to be even bigger and better! 

Gates open at 9am for all vehicle entries and participants, judging takes place from 11am-12.30pm, followed by People’s Choice Best of Show awards. Then vehicles and people will gather for the Ruapehu Mountain Run. 

Those wishing to enter their vehicle or vehicles (pre-2000 models only) may request a no-fee entry application via email at autoshow.at.the.park@gmail.com, by May 29.
