The JB behind VGLT is stepping sideways.
Volunteer Great Lake Taupō operations manager Julian Bishop is stepping away from day-to-day management to focus on his other passion as a professional dance instructor.
Julian has been instrumental in creating a central hub for hundreds of community groups and will continue to be involved as a board member for VGLT.
In a written statement the VGLT Board thanked Julian for his “energy, commitment and genuine enthusiasm during his time in the position.
“His steady drive to advance VGLT’s goals has helped strengthen our work and deepen our
connections within the community.”
It says a recruitment process is underway, and “we look forward to welcoming a new operations manager in the coming weeks”.
Julian will continue to be on hand to help with the transition.
